What To Expect
The Summit 1770 has set out to be one of Australia’s best dog-friendly holiday parks, and it shows. Dogs get their own facilities, socialisation runs and training sessions with owner Chris de Aboitiz, a former world champion tandem surfer and pioneer of dog surfing.
Stay in a dog-friendly cottage, bring your own setup for one of the spacious powered or unpowered sites, or book one of the park’s more affordable onsite accommodation options. The sites are generously spaced, with mountain views and plenty of breathing room between neighbours.
Doggie daycare is also available, which comes in handy when you want to book an activity your dog cannot join. Back at the park, you can sign up for a Pack Mates workshop to learn more about dog behaviour and strengthen the way you communicate with your dog.
A standout Agnes Water base for travellers who want their dog to be part of the holiday, rather than an afterthought.
