What To Expect
Best Friend Holiday Retreat is the kind of place where the dogs clearly came first and the human accommodation was built around them. Set across 10 acres in Victoria’s Tarra Valley, the retreat has six securely fenced off-leash areas, a dog playground with agility equipment, a free self-service hydrobath and private daytime kennels for when you want to explore without your dog.
Dogs are welcome inside the cabins, and each cabin comes with its own securely fenced yard. Some even have a dedicated little doggie bedroom. Campers are looked after too, with fenced powered sites available for both caravans and tents.
Even the camp kitchen welcomes dogs, so they do not have to miss out while dinner is being made. Add in the peaceful gardens, waterfall, natural rock pool and resident wildlife, and this feels less like a standard holiday park and more like a proper dog holiday destination.
