What To Expect
Peasholm Dog Beach is a spacious, sandy beach with no visible rocks, making it a great pick for dogs that like to swim and play in open water. The water is usually clear, but it can get rough when there’s a swell, so it might not suit small dogs or nervous swimmers on those days.
There are showers and hoses available to rinse off, and it’s one of the few dog beaches that also has toilets and water for dogs, which makes it very convenient. The car park can get busy on weekends.
