What To Expect
Esk Caravan Park has clearly thought through the practical side of travelling with dogs. Its two fully fenced powered sites give dogs a secure place to move around off lead while you settle into camp, with 1.2-metre fencing, a latched pedestrian gate and a wide caravan entry. The sites also mix astroturf, pebbles and a strip of natural grass, so there is less mud, less dust and still somewhere sunny for dogs to stretch out.
Dogs are also welcome at no extra charge on the park’s standard powered and unpowered sites. For travellers without their own setup, there are designated pet-friendly cabins and an accessible motel room where dogs can stay for an additional cleaning fee.
There is an on-site pet wash too, which is especially useful after exploring the walking and hiking trails around Esk and the Somerset region. With only two fenced sites available, this is one to book early if letting your dog relax around camp without being permanently attached to a lead is high on the wish list.
