What To Expect

Blackman Park is one of the most thoughtfully designed dog parks in Sydney. It offers two fully fenced areas, making it a great choice for both confident dogs and more timid or smaller pups. One area is typically used by smaller or older dogs, while the larger enclosure is perfect for high-energy dogs who want space to run and play.

There’s also a fun agility setup with tunnels and jumps, and the main dog area is floodlit, so you can squeeze in a visit even after the sun goes down. Outside the fenced zones, large grassy ovals are available for off-leash play—just be sure to check signage or flags, as the ovals may be closed during sports events.

One of the park’s highlights is the on-site dog-friendly café right next to the dog areas. Whether you're after a snack or a puppuccino, it’s a great spot to sit back while your dog plays. There are plenty of shady seating areas, water bowls, and bag dispensers too, so it's a stress-free outing for everyone.

While the park is open 24/7, parking can fill up during busy periods, especially when there are local sports on. At quieter times, there’s usually plenty of space.
