What To Expect
Christies Beach is one of Adelaide’s most popular seaside spots and features a designated off-leash area north of Heather Street. Dogs can enjoy the sand and surf off-leash at any time, provided they remain under effective control.
Outside of this designated area, dogs must be on-leash between 10 am and 8 pm during daylight savings. Signage at the beach provides the most up-to-date information about local rules, so if you’re unsure, it’s best to check before heading onto the sand.
