What To Expect
Helen Reserve is one of the Central Coast’s most thoughtfully designed off-leash parks, purpose-built to keep tails wagging and owners relaxed. You’ll find two fully fenced areas - one for small dogs and one for the big players. The enclosures are secure with double-gate entries, making this a great spot for dogs still learning recall or owners who just want peace of mind.
There’s a small covered area and scattered chairs for humans, and while the locals often leave spare poo bags tied to the fence, it’s smart to bring your own. There’s a tap a few minutes’ walk away, so pack a bottle and bowl to save the trip. After rain, expect a bit of mud — the price of a well-used park that dogs actually love.
It’s a friendly, easygoing community vibe here — great for building confidence in shy pups or letting energetic dogs burn off steam. There aren’t any lights or public toilets, so this one’s best for daylight visits.
Always check local signage before letting your dog off-lead, as rules can change.
