Why Dogs Love This Place
What To Expect

Okay, it’s not technically a beach – but Kedron Brook still delivers the goods when it comes to off-leash fun, water play, and big open space. Just 20 minutes north of Brisbane’s CBD, this stretch of the Brook is a local favourite for weekend wanders and splashy zoomies.

The off-leash section runs alongside the creek and features grassy areas, walking paths, and multiple spots where dogs can take a dip. It’s ideal for recall-trained pups, but if your dog’s still learning, just stick to the quieter areas or keep them on lead near the track.

It’s a relaxed, community vibe here – you’ll usually spot a few other dogs doing the rounds, and the area’s big enough to give everyone some space. There aren’t heaps of amenities, so bring your own water and bags, and check the conditions if it’s rained recently, as the creek can get a bit muddy.
