Why Dogs Love This Place
What To Expect

Located on the Kurnell Peninsula and fronting Botany Bay, Kurnell Dog Beach is a welcoming off-leash beach that’s perfect for a laid-back outing with your pup. Dogs are allowed off-leash at all times—but only in the designated section between the third and fourth groynes at the western end of Silver Beach (next to the Bonna Point Reserve car park and boat ramp).

There’s ample free parking, and across the road you’ll find public toilets, a drinking fountain, and even a small playground. The area has a chilled, social atmosphere—sometimes even featuring an ice-cream truck or monthly breed meetups, While not the largest dog beach, it’s great for a short run, a paddle, or a relaxed stroll.
