What To Expect
Lagoon Reserve is a well-equipped off-leash dog park set beside the lagoon in Queenscliff. While it’s not directly on the beach, the park has shallow water access, making it a popular choice for dogs who love to swim. The surrounding area includes grassy space, walking paths, BBQs, and exercise equipment — a nice bonus if you’re looking to squeeze in some movement while your dog explores.
Dogs are allowed off-leash at all times, including in the water (subject to water quality notices on site). The reserve is not fully fenced, so it’s best suited to dogs with good recall.
The park can get busy and there are limited 2-hour free parking spots nearby, so it’s worth planning ahead. It’s located near Queenscliff Beach, with a playground and more walking tracks just a short distance away.
