Why Dogs Love This Place
What To Expect

Port Noarlunga is one of the Fleurieu Peninsula’s most iconic beaches — known for its red sandstone cliffs, heritage jetty, and offshore reef, making it a favourite for swimmers, snorkellers, and families.

Dogs are welcome at Port Noarlunga Beach, but must be on-leash between 10am and 8pm during daylight saving time. Outside these hours, they can enjoy the sand off-leash, provided they remain under effective control.
Dogs are not permitted on the jetty between 10am and 8pm during daylight saving.

Just south of the main beach, Port Noarlunga South Beach is a designated dog-exercise area, where dogs are typically permitted off-leash, though seasonal rules may still apply.

If you’re unsure, always check the beach signage for the latest restrictions.
