What To Expect
Shale Hills Dog Park is one of Western Sydney’s most impressive off-leash spaces - a purpose-built playground designed for both fun and training. The park features two fully fenced enclosures: one for large dogs and another for smaller or less confident pups. Both are equipped with secure double-gate entries and open grassy areas perfect for social play or recall practice.
The main enclosure includes agility-style equipment and a looped walking path with exercise stations that encourage interactive play and training. There’s also a small sensory garden planted with dog-safe herbs, offering a unique touch of enrichment for curious noses.
Facilities include drinking water for dogs and humans, shaded seating, and a generous on-site car park located right by the gates. While there are no public toilets on-site and the car park gates close in the evening, pedestrian access remains open at all hours.
Always check local signage before letting your dog off-lead, as rules or access times may change.
