What To Expect
Located near Aldinga on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula, Silver Sands Beach is famous for its soft white sand, clear blue water, and relaxed vibe. You can even drive onto the beach with a 4WD — perfect for setting up a comfy spot with all your gear right by the water.
Dogs are welcome here, but they must be on-leash between 10am and 8pm during daylight savings. Outside of those hours, they can enjoy the beach off-leash. If unsure, always check the signage before visiting.
This west-facing beach is ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, fishing, and catching a stunning sunset over the Gulf St Vincent.
