This dog beach in South Freo is a great starter spot if your pup is new to the ocean. It’s a little smaller than other beaches in Perth, but that just adds to the relaxed feel — and it rarely gets big waves, making it a low-stress option for dogs still learning the beach ropes.
There’s easy access to bins and poo bag holders, and the beach is just a short walk from South Terrace where you’ll find dog-friendly cafés and even a spot to grab a hot dog at Run Amuk. Sunsets here are pretty popular too, so don’t be surprised if the beach gets a little busier in the late afternoon.
