What To Expect
On the eastern side of Bribie Island, Woorim Beach offers a beautiful off-leash stretch where dogs can run free, swim in the surf, and enjoy a long walk along white sandy shores. With big waves, clean sand, and plenty of space, it’s a great beach for families – fur kids and human kids alike.
The off-leash area extends for quite a distance, making it ideal for short or medium walks. There’s often wildlife nearby (think dolphins, birds, stingrays, and turtles!), so dogs must remain on-leash when walking from the car park through the bushy access tracks to protect the local environment. Off-leash fun begins once you hit the signed beach zone.
Facilities include showers and water taps near the car park, as well as dog waste bag dispensers at the entrance. Public toilets are a short walk away.
It’s a popular spot, especially on holidays and warm days, but there’s usually plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the view. Keep an eye out for dolphins while your dog enjoys their splash.
