What To Expect
Ayers Rock Campground is the only dog-friendly accommodation option within Ayers Rock Resort, giving road trippers a practical base for staying in Yulara with their dog. Dogs are welcome on the powered and unpowered campsites, but not inside the campground cabins.
There is a 24-hour dog wash near the laundry, which is particularly useful after dusty Red Centre adventures. Dogs must remain on lead throughout the campground and cannot enter the cabins, ablution blocks or dining facilities, so this is best suited to travellers who are comfortable managing those restrictions.
The campground also has a swimming pool, communal barbecues and laundry facilities, with guests able to access the wider resort’s activities and services. Just keep in mind that dogs are not permitted in Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park, so you will need a plan for them while visiting the park itself.
