What To Expect
Broadwater Resort is a self-contained villa and apartment resort on Geographe Bay in Busselton, and one of the more thoroughly set up dog-friendly stays in the South West.
Dogs are welcome in selected accommodation, with a dog bed, blanket and bowls supplied for the stay, and they're also allowed in the outdoor beer garden at the resort's on-site restaurant, Tonic by The Bay.
A pet fee and a refundable bond apply on top of the room rate, and pet-friendly rooms are subject to availability, so dogs need to be booked in advance directly with the resort. Blackout periods apply over the Christmas and Easter school holidays, when pet-friendly rooms aren't offered.
The resort, a WA Tourism Awards 2025 Gold Winner, sits close to a dog-friendly beach and walking paths, making it suited to a proper multi-day coastal stay with a dog rather than a quick overnight.
